News 26 August 2009: KWRA respresentatives attend SOS4031 Public Meeting
In a great show over 130 residents of Kedron & Gordon Park attended a Public Meeting at the Little Flower Church Hall at 7.30pm on 26 August 2009. Many topics were covered. The underlying feeling is that BrisConnections, CNI and TJH have overstepped the mark and there is zero community consultation and that this needs to change. The Kedron & Gordon Park residents, who have been putting up with construction work to date, have had a gutful. The following motion was put to the residents at this meeting after discussions between the two residents groups:

MOTION READS: That residents in attendance at the aforementioned
              meeting and representing areas currently affected 
              by the construction of the Airport Link Project 
              resolve to accept an extension of the contractually
              confirmed project delivery time (June 2012) in order 
              that the need for an additional shaft located at Rose 
              Street, Wooloowin be rejected by the Coordinator 
              General.
